With January screeching by at warp speed, it’s probably not a bad time to see how you’ve been doing on that New Year’s Resolution. You know the one I mean. The pesky little plan to work out more, eat less and (ta-da) lose weight. Right. THAT resolution. That’s right. It might be time for a little weigh-in. I had mine this morning. And that’s all I have to say about that. At least I know the truth. And January’s not over yet, so I’ve got some time to improve things during that critical first month of the new year.

If you just can’t seem to get yourself to aerobics. Or pilates. Or yoga. Or whatever class you tell yourself you’re going to take every single week… You’re not alone. No matter what class I want to take or what time it takes place – I invariably find myself somewhere else, doing something else when I’m supposed to be doing side kicks or crunches or whatever…. Just quit. Elimintate the pressure.
No, I’m not saying you should abandon your workout regime. Far from it. All I’m saying is forget the schedule, let the classes come to you. And I’m not dissing your gym or instructor – but when you go for the video alternative you can get instruction from some total rock stars!
