The problem with sending someone cookies as a holiday gift is that they most likely already have some cookies. And some cake. And loads of other holiday treats. Consider the gift of cookies that will give back later. Frozen Dough
- or what I like to think of as cookies on demand!

Each three pound tub makes approximately 4 dozen cookies. You can send a gift package of two tubs of dough and a scoop for $42.95. Choose from any of their seven delicious flavors. Chocolate chunk. White chocolate chunk. White chocolate macadamia nut. Oatmeal raisin. Peanut butter. Sugar. M&M. Yum!
And for extra family fun, consider the Cookie Play Dough
.

Just as much fun and when you’re done playing - the cookies are as delicious as they are beautiful. A set of two (6 pounds of dough) sells for $44.95.
See all these tasty gift ideas and more at David’s Cookies
. All their products are certified Kosher OU.
And, as usual, we’ve got the inside scoop on how to get the best possible deal.

Everybody I know is going Wii crazy these days. And I’ve hopped on the bandwagon. I was lucky enough to be invited to a few Wii marathons with friends and all I can say is Wii Wow! How fun! And what a great way to exercise, too. The Wii Fit is awesome. And the Wii sports. And the games. What a blast.

The weird thing is that you’d think that the infamous Wii Christmas shortage would be over by know - but it’s not. Game console systems can still be hard to find. And so can some of the accessories and games. I’ve been surfing like crazy and cannot report any place (other than eBay
) where you can simply order a console that’s in stock and have it shipped right away. I have found a terrific source for games and accessories in GameStop.com
. They’ve got HUNDREDS of Nintendo Wii items IN STOCK and READY TO SHIP. With bricks and mortar locations all over the country, many items are even available for in-store pickup. They also offer some ’system packages’ that include the basic starter package along with additional remotes, accessories and games. Their packages are fairly priced, particularly when you compare them to some of the packages offered by the Wii-only websites that have sprung up out of the Wii drought. If you’re Wii shopping like I am, take a surf over to GameStop.com
. You’ve got nothing to lose but a few clicks!

I have my pal Peanut to thank for this one. She turned me on to the whole phenomenon of ‘Fizz and Find’ fun. Each contains one of a series of toys but you don’t know which one you’ve got until you ‘fizz’ it.

Like the Dragon Magic Egg
- each one has a different collectible dragon inside. Drop the egg in water and watch it fizz away and reveal a secret dragon hidden inside. Each dragon emerges it’s fizzy shell in parts - put them together and you’ve got a new dragon. You can even mix and match parts from more than one dragon to create your own unique mythical creatures. There’s no way to tell from the outside of the package (or the egg) which dragon is inside, which adds to the fun even more. Peanut and her friends collect and trade their Fizz and Find toys, kind of like baseball cards. Each one sells for $5.95 which makes them great for stocking stuffers or a little something extra - just because.
In addition to the Dragon Eggs, there are several other Fizz ‘n Find series, including Mermaid Surprise Shells and Fairy Hearts.

There aren’t that many things that I played with as a kid that are still totally fun today - for kids of ALL ages. Silly Putty is an exception. Visit SillyPutty.com, the “silliest” store on the Web!

I just can’t help myself. It’s fun. And despite it’s decidedly low tech concept, it’s still a big hit with the little ones. Great for a birthday party favor, stocking stuffer or for no reason at all.

Things are going baby crazy around here - it seems like almost every day I’ve been off to visit a new arrival. And, of course, that means that almost every day I have been shopping for baby gifts. As things usually work out, by the time the baby has arrived, I’ve already attended a shower (or two) and already sent a gift (or two). But who wants to show up empty handed when visiting the newest arrival for the first time? Not me. I’ve been stocking up on cool toys from Constructive Playthings.
One of my current favorites is this Soft Activity Cube - a great value for only $19.99 and a sure winner with the little ones and with the parents, too. Both Little Guy and Tiny Guy LOVED it when they were littler and tinier, respectively.

I also really like these Photo Stacking Blocks. The photos add a personal touch and are a perfect way to keep loved ones close at play time. A fun gift - and a steal at only $13.99.

And they’ve got loads more choices too. Safe, non-toxic and, as they say, kid-tested and mother-approved.
