Light, warm and wonderful, there’s nothing not to like about alpaca. Especially right now - I just took a surf over to Alpaca Boutique and am quite pleased to report that there are some beautiful alpaca bargains to be found. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to post any pictures, so you’ll just have to trust me when I say there are some FABULOUS ponchos, sweaters, scarves, shawls, jackets and coats on sale. My personal faves include a turtleneck poncho with fringe in a luscious, rich brown (currently a steal at $85) and a beautiful baby alpaca shawl in a deep rust color (also a great deal at $68). To be honest, even the things that aren’t on sale are quite reasonable, especially considering the quality and workmanship.
