And while we’re on the subject of shoes - I was lucky enough to attend one of the best parties of the century this weekend. Great food. Great music. Benefit for a great cause. And I met some really fun and fascinating people. Including a very well dressed and totally hipster chic woman named Holly who is a friend of a friend of a friend and a total blast. Anyway, she was wearing a funky long (ankle length) narrow skirt, a tee and a slim fitting leather jacket. Perfect for an outdoor party on a coolish fall evening. And when I looked down at her feet, I could not believe the adorable sandals she was wearing. Also perfect for an outdoor party on a coolish fall evening when you feel like showing off your pretty pedicure and be comfortable at the same time. She looked at me and said two words. Earth Shoes.

When I think of most of the things I wore in high school and college, I cringe. But not my Dansko shoes. I’m a lifelong fan. They’re an essential part of my wardrobe.
