It’s been snowing like crazy here just about all day long and shows no signs of stopping. I’m cold. I’m tired. I’m hungry. I don’t want to leave the house. And I’ll be hungry again tomorrow. And I won’t want to leave the house then, either. Such a dilemma…
Not really! I’m going to load up my Crock-pot
slow cooker before I go to bed tonight and by the time I wake up I’ll have a nice huge pot of delicious split pea soup waiting for me. And then I’m going to load it up again - with a hearty chili.
What could be easier? I may never leave the house again.
This time of year, I always rediscover my c with absolute delight - like a little kid on Christmas morning. If you don’t have one, you might want to consider picking one up for yourself. It’s a great thing to have, especially in the winter. And if you have a friend who doesn’t have one - a Crock-pot makes a great gift.
