You may have seen it on Oprah’s “O” list or in Real Simple Magazine. The [ together ] book
is a revolutionary patent-pending process to bind your digital photos (via upload) or your already printed photographs (via mail) into a beautiful, high quality hardcover book. This is not just another photo book! These are books of your actual photographs.
The process is simple! For binding the photos you have stashed away in shoe boxes or still in the photo lab envelope, simply gather your stacks of twenty five to one hundred photos. Visit the [ together ] book
web site, select the color of your book, create any optional stamping for the outside of the book (Pets, Hawaii Vacation, etc.) Drop your photo stacks in the mail to the address provided, and – as simple as that – you will receive your book in about a week. For digital upload customers the process is even easier! Simply go to the [ together ] book
website and upload your photos in the order you want them bound. Pick the book options and photo size option and they do the rest.

It’s one of my favorite bargain hunting surf spots. Over the years I’ve gotten crazy deals on everything from an iron to a Prada tote – and too many other items to name. They’ve got a great camera and optical department; on my last surf they were featuring about 400 different items. Digital cameras. Memory cards. Tripods. Film cameras. Camcorders. Surveillance and security cameras. And more. Prices are discounted as much as 80%, occasionally even more. You can even save a bit extra with their current promotional offers. If they discounted this stuff any more it would be free!

No special coupon codes are required. (In fact they rarely use coupon codes at all.) When you click through a link it will automatically activate that offer.
Looking for more? Visit our Overstock.com Deals Page for the latest scoop on all their current coupon codes, freebies, exclusive offers, private sales and other promotions.

Especially when it comes to digital cameras. We’re impressed with the Casio Exilim EXZ1000 and its breathtaking high-speed performance. Release time lag, start up, image scrolling, and other operations clock some of the fastest speeds available in a digital camera today. Large and bright 2.8-inch screen is easy to see, even on a sunny day. 10 megapixels ensure crystal-clear image output for both printing and screen, delivering extraordinary photographic detail. The long-life battery packs enough power for around 350 still images on a single charge, and the camera comes with Casio’s Anti Shake DSP to reduce photo blur due to shaky hands or moving subjects.

I’ve never been much of a photo album or scrapbook person. In my house, most photos wind up thrown into drawers or boxes in a complete disorganized mess. Since the digital camera has swept the world, this has changed for me. I can finally keep track of the pictures I’ve taken and those that other people have sent to me and actually DO SOMETHING WITH THEM!
How’s this for a great idea for a gift for an expecting mother or bride to be? Next time you are at a baby shower or bridal shower bring your digital camera and record the festivities. Choose a selection of the best photos and create a photo book for the guest of honor. Photo books make great gifts for grandparents and are a terrific way to remember that special vacation.

Have you ever seen one of those birthday cakes with a photo transfer on it? These days they are available at a lot of bakeries. Here’s a twist on the same idea that I think is just terrific. You can have any photo transfered onto iced, shrink-wrapped cookies. What a great wedding or shower favor! A photo cookie could even be a sweet and clever birth announcement or party invitation. You can order as few as a dozen. Prices start at about $3.50 per cookie. The image typically lasts about a month before fading and the wrapped cookies remain edible for up to three months. From now through 11/30/2006, save 15% on your entire order with coupon code PERF.

Paula and Sherry have been making photo books for their out of town grandsons, writing stories about their visits and all the things they love to do together. The kids love the books as part of their bedtime library. Better yet, the books will be treasured memories in the future, and much more fun than the typical family photo albumn. They’ve each made a couple of books by now and used different approaches with each. Sherry tends to go for the traditional scrapbook approach, buying a blank book and placing the printed photos, text and embellishments on the pages by hand. Paula’s gone electronic – laying out digital photos, texts and graphics on the pages one at a time and then binding them into a book. Both approaches yield terrific results; in my mind the main difference is whether or not you want the ability to make more than one copy of the exact same book. If you want more than one, then digital is definitely the way to go.
Either way, I’ve tracked down an amazing website all about scrapbooking that’s chock full of resources and ideas for both traditional and digital scrapbooking. If you’re a scrapbooker of either ilk, next time you’re surfing check out A Cherry on Top. They’ve got thousands and thousands of products and an enormous gallery to provide inspiration. It’s a complete online community and definitely worth a stop.
