It seems like we’re all consumed with planning big simchas these days. 2008 is a big year for the girls in our family. Hazel, Petunia AND Ketchy will all be Bat Mitzvah before the summer is over and we are going party crazy! My friend Julie is expecting any day now. Her nieces and sisters-in-law gave her an absolutely lovely shower a few weeks ago. They thought of everything. A pinata can add a festive touch to almost any kind of party. Kids love the traditional ’smash and grab’ candy feeding frenzy, but there are many other ways to enjoy a pinata.
