I have my pal Peanut to thank for this one. She turned me on to the whole phenomenon of ‘Fizz and Find’ fun. Each contains one of a series of toys but you don’t know which one you’ve got until you ‘fizz’ it.
Like the Dragon Magic Egg - each one has a different collectible dragon inside. Drop the egg in water and watch it fizz away and reveal a secret dragon hidden inside. Each dragon emerges it’s fizzy shell in parts - put them together and you’ve got a new dragon. You can even mix and match parts from more than one dragon to create your own unique mythical creatures. There’s no way to tell from the outside of the package (or the egg) which dragon is inside, which adds to the fun even more. Peanut and her friends collect and trade their Fizz and Find toys, kind of like baseball cards. Each one sells for $5.95 which makes them great for stocking stuffers or a little something extra - just because.
In addition to the Dragon Eggs, there are several other Fizz ‘n Find series, including Mermaid Surprise Shells and Fairy Hearts.

My friend Julie is expecting any day now. Her nieces and sisters-in-law gave her an absolutely lovely shower a few weeks ago. They thought of everything. I was at an absolutely blissfully beautiful wedding last night. (Congrats, Josie! I couldn’t be happier for you!!!!!) It was really a lovely party - from the lovely passed appetizers to the well stocked bar and French champagne to the beautiful meal, it was one of those events where you just know how much time the bride and groom spent thinking about their guests. It was absolutely impossible NOT to have a fabulous time at this party. They thought of everything - to the smallest detail.
And, of course, they sent us home with a lovely little favor - a small silk bag of sweets with a tiny thank you card attached. It was a sweet and gracious sentiment and a sweet little treat for me to enjoy this afternoon with a cup of coffee. Love that!
