While cut flowers are lovely (and don’t add to your clutter) they lack a certain permanence that certain gifting occasions require. I think a Bonsai tree is a terrific alternative. I love the whole feng shui aesthetic, the trees are nice and small (also no added clutter) and actually require relatively little maintenance.
Check out this great website. They are the largest supplier of Bonsai Trees and supplies on the internet offering hunderds of items at low wholesale prices.

Here’s a delightful alternative to a floral arrangement or potted plant, particularly if you know the recipient has a ‘black thumb’. How about a fresh live preserved topiary? It stays green and perfect forever. No watering required.
A topiary can bring a splash of color to any room. I have tons of plants in my house but in certain spots nothing will flourish. And nothing looks worse than a dying plant. No more. A fresh preserved live topairy lives on forever.
